• Read magazines in the subjects you are interested in
• Browse through books
• Read other examples of PIPs
• Talk to your teachers and friends about your ideas
• Talk to past students who have been through the process
• Talk to your librarians about your ideas. They may know what will be 'findable' and what isn't.
