What exactly is plagiarism?
Plagiarism is taking someone else’s ideas, words or works (such as music or images) and presenting them as your own. This may be done intentionally or unintentionally. Either way it is taken very seriously at Monte and you can fail assignments if you plagiarise.
The following are all considered acts of plagiarism:
Most cases of plagiarism can be avoided, however, by citing sources. Simply acknowledging that certain material has been borrowed, and providing your audience with the information necessary to find that source, is usually enough to prevent plagiarism.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WEBSITES
Any work produced by or through AI websites, no matter how small a percentage of an assignment it is, is not considered to be work authentically done by you. Any AI-generated or edited text, images or content must be credited in the same way as any other source. If you use AI, you must make it clear through referencing which words or content are authentically your own, and which are produced or edited by AI. Note that as it is impossible to know what online content has been 'scraped' by AI sites to produce content, AI can not be considered a reliable research source.
